Self-parking at Disney Springs is free in its garages and surface lots. You do not need a Disney hotel stay to park. Resort buses and Sassagoula boats also provide complimentary transportation, but trips from Disney Springs to a resort hotel have eligibility rules. Rideshare and Minnie Van trips cost extra.
Choose your arrival point around where you are going first, then plan the trip home. Dinner on the West Side and shopping in the Marketplace can leave you at different ends of Disney Springs. Save yourself the unnecessary walk with shopping bags.
Free parking: garages and surface lots
Standard self-parking is complimentary. Follow the signs to available parking rather than circling for a preferred entrance. Keep the garage or lot name, level and row on your phone before leaving the car.
The three garages are Orange, Lime and Grapefruit. Surface parking includes Watermelon, Strawberry and Mango. Availability and access can change, so use the posted directions when you arrive. A familiar lot name is not a promise that its entrance will be available on your visit.
Pick your first restaurant, shop or activity on the map before choosing a garage. Compare its location with the available parking and the pedestrian route. If you need mobility equipment, include the rental location in that decision. There is no single best garage for every visit.

Leave time between parking and your reservation
Plan to arrive at least an hour before a dining reservation, show or scheduled event. During holidays and peak periods, allow up to two hours for traffic and other delays. That is arrival planning time, not a prediction that the walk from every garage takes an hour.
On regular days without a special event, garages open at 9 a.m. On special merchandise event days, including Tuesday pin releases, garages and rideshare loops open at 7 a.m. Vehicles may not queue before 7 a.m.; an early arrival does not secure a place in line. Check the particular event arrangements before setting out.
For dinner, work backward from the reservation: walking to the restaurant, parking and unloading, then the drive. If the route estimate ends at a garage entrance, you still have the rest of that trip to finish.
EV charging has its own price
Free parking does not include free electricity. As of September 11, 2026, four Level 3 charging stations are in the Watermelon lot in front of Cirque du Soleil. Charging costs $0.40 per kWh, with a 20-minute grace period and a subsequent $0.30-per-minute charge until the car is moved.
Additional ChargePoint spaces are on the fifth floors of Orange and Lime Garages and the third floor of Grapefruit Garage, with three spaces in each location. The ChargePoint rate is $0.35 per kWh with a $1.50 minimum. Charging spaces are first come, first served.
Check the charger’s displayed rate, connector compatibility and session terms before plugging in. Set a reminder to move the car when charging finishes, especially if dinner or a show will keep you away. Do not plan to arrive with so little charge that one occupied station leaves you stuck.

Free resort buses: who can board?
Bus service between Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs runs during Disney Springs operating hours and ends one hour after closing. Town Center has the resort bus loop. Check your hotel’s stop and current directions in My Disney Experience rather than assuming every bus departs from the rideshare area.
From Disney Springs, resort hotel buses are for guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel and guests visiting with a valid dining or experience reservation. You may be asked to show a room key or reservation. With a dining or experience reservation, you may board the appropriate hotel bus up to two hours before your booking.
For a 6 p.m. resort dinner, that boarding window begins at 4 p.m. It does not reserve a bus seat or guarantee an arrival time. Have the reservation ready before reaching the stop and leave room for the wait and travel.
There is no bus service from the theme parks to Disney Springs. Do not build a park day around free Disney Springs parking and an assumed direct park shuttle. Use your actual park’s parking or transportation plan; the Disney World transportation and parking guide covers those broader choices.

Sassagoula boats use the Marketplace dock
The complimentary Sassagoula River Cruise connects the Disney Springs Marketplace dock with Disney’s Old Key West Resort, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, and both Port Orleans resorts: Riverside and French Quarter.
The hotel eligibility check applies to these boats too. Guests departing Disney Springs may need a valid room key, dining reservation or experience reservation. The reservation boarding window begins two hours before the booked time.
Use the marked pickup point for your destination and check the return arrangements before boarding. Boat operating hours depend on water and weather conditions. The bus service’s one-hour-after-closing rule should not be treated as a promise about the last boat.
If a boat trip is part of a tightly timed dinner plan, check the service before walking to the dock and keep another route in mind. A waterfront route can be a pleasant part of the visit when your schedule has room for it.

Rideshare, Minnie Van and walking
Two rideshare areas
Rideshare pickup and drop-off are available at the Marketplace Loop near Disney’s Wonderful World of Memories and the West Side Bus and Rideshare Loop beside the Strawberry lot. Match the app’s pickup pin to the correct loop before requesting the car.
Finish shopping, gather the whole party and head toward the assigned pickup area before confirming the ride under the app’s instructions. Compare a vehicle that fits everyone, including bags, stroller and any required child seats. A pickup request at the opposite end adds a walk you may not have allowed for.
Minnie Van is a paid option
Minnie Van works through Lyft at participating Walt Disney World locations. Enter the destination, select Minnie Van, confirm the pickup point and review the fare. Price varies by distance; check the app for current availability.
Standard Minnie Vans accommodate up to six guests and have two child safety seats. Accessible Minnie Vans can be requested in Lyft and have space for two mobility devices, plus five seated passengers, for a maximum of seven guests. Confirm the arrangement that fits your party when choosing the vehicle.

Staying close enough to walk?
Pedestrian footbridges connect Hotel Plaza Boulevard with the Marketplace. If your hotel is nearby, ask for its pedestrian route before choosing to walk. Check the distance to your actual destination inside Disney Springs, along with the weather and everyone’s walking needs.
Accessible parking, rentals and strollers
Designated accessible spaces are available in the lots and garages with a valid disability parking permit. That includes Orange and Lime Garages. Choose parking with the whole route in mind: the pedestrian exit, your destination and any equipment you need to collect.
Mobility and stroller rental locations are at Sundries beside the Town Center bus loop, near Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, and the Welcome Center mobility window. Confirm the equipment and availability you need before relying on a rental. If walking to the rental location is difficult, plan that part of the arrival separately.
On Disney buses and watercraft, strollers must be folded and kept out of the aisle. Medical strollers used by guests with disabilities are treated as wheelchairs. Neither buses nor watercraft allow luggage or alcohol. An airport departure day with suitcases needs a separate baggage plan.
For a wheelchair or ECV, ask about boarding for the specific route and device before committing to the trip. Do not assume a standard rideshare can transport an occupied mobility device. Our Disney World stroller guide can help with the equipment choice.
