The details change by resort and room type. A Deluxe Studio is not the same as a one-bedroom villa, and a large resort may have several laundry rooms spread across different buildings.
Which Disney World laundry option should you use?

How does self-service laundry work?
Self-service rooms have washers, dryers and soap vending. Credit and debit cards are accepted at most Disney World Resort hotel laundry locations. Some rooms still have a limited number of coin-operated machines and a change machine, while other locations are card-only.
You can request a text message when a cycle finishes. That makes it easier to wait nearby without watching the machine, but keep your own timer as a backup and return promptly when the load is done.
Find your resort on the official Disney World laundry page. Large properties may have several rooms, so compare the laundry-room name with your building or pool area before carrying a full bag across the resort.
Do not count on one universal machine price, detergent price or cycle length. Check the machine and vending display when you arrive.
Which villas have an in-room washer and dryer?
Disney villas with one or more bedrooms include an in-room washer and dryer and one complimentary single-use box of detergent. This is the easiest setup for families who expect to wash several loads during a stay.
Room category matters. Deluxe Studios generally use a shared self-service room, even when they sit in the same Disney Vacation Club resort as larger villas. Read the exact room description before booking if in-room laundry is important.
How do valet laundry and dry cleaning work?
At most Disney World Resort hotels, select Housekeeping on the in-room phone to arrange pickup. The laundry bag and current price list should be in the room closet. Charges go to the room account.
Three resorts follow a different handoff:

At those resorts, take dry cleaning or valet laundry to Bell Services before 9:00 a.m. Ask about turnaround before sending anything you need for a dining reservation, travel day or special event.
How can laundry differ by resort?
Disney’s Contemporary Resort
At Disney’s Contemporary Resort, the 24-hour self-service laundry room is on the second floor. Dry-cleaning and valet laundry are also available. This is a compact setup: one named room instead of several village locations.
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort has 24-hour laundry rooms in Aruba and two in each of the Jamaica, Martinique, Barbados and Trinidad villages. Washer and dryer tokens are sold in the laundry rooms. Valet laundry and dry cleaning go to Bell Services before 9:00 a.m.
The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
One-bedroom-and-larger villas have their own washers and dryers. Shared 24-hour laundry rooms are also available in the main building and on the ground floors of most buildings with guest rooms, which gives Deluxe Studio guests a self-service option.
Locations and instructions vary enough that a final check shortly before your trip is worthwhile, especially if a particular room or service is central to your plans.
How should you plan one laundry load?
- Pack for the payment setup. Bring a card, and keep a small cash backup if your resort uses coins or tokens.
- Choose an easy block of time. A pool break or quiet resort evening usually works better than squeezing laundry between transportation and a reservation.
- Leave room for delays. Machines can be occupied or temporarily unavailable. Avoid waiting until the final night for clothes needed on departure morning.
- Keep one small laundry kit. A collapsible bag, stain wipe and a few dryer sheets take little space. Use the detergent provided or sold at your location.
- Separate what cannot go in a dryer. Resort rooms may have limited hanging space, so do not create a large air-dry load without a plan.
