The best Disneyland stroller choice depends on the walk outside the parks. A resort rental works well when you need wheels inside Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure and Downtown Disney. A personal or length-of-stay stroller is usually easier when the child also needs it at the hotel, on the walk from parking, or after the rental counter closes.
Disneyland Resort currently charges $18 per day for one stroller and $36 per day for a double. The rental location sits outside the theme parks, just east of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance. Check the current rental listing before your visit because prices and availability can change.

Bring one, rent at the entrance, or arrange delivery
| Setup | Best fit | Main tradeoff |
|---|---|---|
| Bring your own | Hotel walks, parking, naps and multi-day trips | You handle it on trams and through security. |
| Disneyland Resort rental | A one-day visit or park hop centered on the two parks and Downtown Disney | It cannot go into resort hotels or onto trams or buses. |
| Length-of-stay rental | Disneyland Resort hotel guests who want the stroller beyond the parks | Reserve through the featured provider and confirm delivery details. |
ScooterBug is Disneyland Resort's featured provider for hotel guests and offers length-of-stay rentals with pre-order and hotel delivery. That option keeps the stroller with the family beyond the entrance area. Compare the full rental total with the inconvenience of transporting your own stroller.
Current rental prices and pickup location
| Rental | Current price | Where to pick it up |
|---|---|---|
| Single stroller | $18 per day | Outside the parks, east of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance |
| Double stroller | $36 per day | Outside the parks, east of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance |
The same resort rental can move between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. You do not need a second rental for a park hop. Keep the rental receipt with the adult carrying tickets and other essentials.
Stroller size and use rules
| Rule | What it means |
|---|---|
| Maximum size | Strollers cannot be wider than 31 inches or longer than 52 inches. |
| Wagons | Wagons and stroller wagons are not permitted. |
| Escalators | Use an elevator or ramp. Strollers are not allowed on escalators. |
| Parking trams | Remove the child before boarding. Resort rental strollers cannot go onto trams. |
| Valuables | Do not leave personal belongings in an unattended stroller. |
| Cast Member moves | A Cast Member may relocate a parked stroller for operational needs. |
Measure a personal stroller with its usual attachments in place. A cup holder, side organizer or wide rear board can change the working width. Review Disneyland's current stroller rules shortly before the trip.
Park hopping, Downtown Disney and hotels
A Disneyland Resort rental can be used in Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure and Downtown Disney. That is enough for most park-hopping days because the entrances face the same esplanade and the rental counter sits outside the parks.
The boundary matters at the end of the night: a resort rental cannot be taken into the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort or onto parking trams or buses. Families staying at a hotel or parking far from the entrance should plan for the walk after returning the stroller. A personal or delivered stroller avoids that gap.
Stroller parking without the scavenger hunt
Use the designated stroller parking area before joining a queue. Cast Members may reorganize rows as crowds shift, so look around the full parking section before assuming the stroller is missing. A bright tag on the handle helps, but keep names, phone numbers and other personal details out of plain view.
Carry phones, wallets, medication and anything difficult to replace. Put snacks, jackets and ordinary supplies in one bag that can leave the stroller quickly. That makes ride boarding and an unexpected stroller move much easier.
Baby Care Centers and midday breaks
Both parks have a complimentary Baby Care Center during regular park hours. Disneyland Park's center is at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. next to First Aid. Disney California Adventure's center is in San Fransokyo Square, across from The Bakery Tour and near Ghirardelli.
The centers include nursing chairs, changing tables, toddler-size toilets, highchairs, a sink, bottle warmers and a microwave for select use. Basic baby supplies are sold from a vending machine. See the current Baby Care Center details when planning a feeding or diaper break.
