Harmony Barber Shop offers haircuts for children and adults inside Magic Kingdom, and its My First Haircut package adds a Mickey ears hat, a keepsake lock of hair and a milestone certificate. Prices start at $22 for a child’s haircut, $30 for My First Haircut, $25 for an adult haircut and $10 for a beard trim.

Reserve ahead if the haircut matters to your day. A limited number of walk-ins may be offered first come, first served, but they are not guaranteed. Park admission is separate, and a theme park reservation may also be required for some admission types.

Book a Harmony Barber Shop appointment

Choose the service first, then check Disney’s available days. Prices and services can change.

Child’s Haircut$22Haircut and simple styling with spray; for children ages 9 and under
My First Haircut$30Haircut, commemorative Mickey ears hat, keepsake lock of hair and official milestone certificate
Adult Haircut$25Haircut and simple styling with spray

These are starting prices rather than fixed totals. Disney can change the prices or the services offered, so check the appointment details before confirming.

The regular child’s haircut has a stated age limit of 9 and under. Disney does not publish a separate age rule for the My First Haircut package on the shop page, so choose it for the milestone and keepsakes rather than treating it as a general child-haircut upgrade.

Reserve the service you actually want

Advance reservations are recommended. Start with the service, then look at the available days. A walk-in can work when your plans are flexible, but the daily supply is limited and handled first come, first served.

The shop sits on Main Street, U.S.A. inside Magic Kingdom. You need valid park admission to reach it. Depending on your ticket or pass, you may also need a theme park reservation. A barber appointment does not include either one.

Check the shop’s operating hours for your visit instead of assuming they match the park’s full day. Extra morning access does not extend the shop’s schedule.

Prepare for a child’s first haircut

Arrive with clean, dry hair. The barber may spray water during styling, but the shop does not shampoo hair. That makes the appointment simpler if tangles and product buildup are handled before you enter the park.

The first haircut package includes the haircut and three take-home pieces: a commemorative Mickey ears hat, a lock of hair and an official milestone certificate. It does not promise a photographer or character appearance. If you want pictures, have your phone or camera ready and keep expectations practical. It is still a working barber shop.

Guests younger than 17 must be accompanied by an adult who is at least 18. For a young child, bring the comfort item that normally helps during a haircut, provided it is easy to hold and does not get in the barber’s way.

Bring cash for gratuity and watch the cancellation deadline

Gratuity is not included and must be paid in cash. That cash-only rule applies to the tip; Disney does not say on the shop page that the haircut itself must be paid in cash.

A $10 charge applies to a no-show or a cancellation made within one day of the reservation. The credit card used to hold the booking is not charged before the visit. If your park plans change, cancel early enough to avoid the fee.

Fit the appointment into a Magic Kingdom day

Harmony Barber Shop is near the front of the park on Main Street, U.S.A. That makes it easiest to pair with arrival, a midday return to the entrance area or the end of a touring loop that already brings you back toward Town Square.

Leave a cushion around the reservation. Disney does not publish a standard appointment length, and the rest of your park day can create its own delays. Avoid placing a hard-to-move dining reservation immediately after the haircut.

For the rest of the day, use our Magic Kingdom Early Entry guide for the morning plan, then check current Magic Kingdom waits and conditions.

Quick questions

Can adults get a haircut at Harmony Barber Shop?

Yes. Adult haircuts start at $25, and beard trims start at $10.

What comes with the first haircut package?

The package includes the haircut, a commemorative Mickey ears hat, a keepsake lock of hair and an official milestone certificate. It starts at $30.

Does Harmony Barber Shop take walk-ins?

A limited number may be available each day on a first-come, first-served basis. Reserve ahead if you do not want to gamble a park-day milestone on an open slot.

Should hair be washed before the appointment?

Yes. Arrive with clean, dry hair because the shop does not provide shampooing.

Do I need cash?

Bring cash for the gratuity. Disney specifically says gratuity is cash only; it does not publish the same restriction for the service payment.

Do I need a Magic Kingdom ticket?

Yes. The shop is inside Magic Kingdom, so valid park admission is required. A theme park reservation may also be required depending on the admission type.
