Bob Iger to receive PAC Icon of Culture Award in October

Bob Iger has been named the 2026 PAC Icon of Culture recipient, according to ABC News.

The former Disney CEO will be honored in October at the Perelman Performing Arts Center's annual gala in New York City, according to the ABC News video posted May 20.

During Iger's Disney tenure, the company acquired Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and 21st Century Fox. Those deals still shape Disney's films, streaming library, merchandise, and theme-park lineup.

The Perelman Performing Arts Center, also known as PAC NYC, is located at the World Trade Center site in Lower Manhattan. The organization presents theater, music, dance, opera, film, and other live arts programming.
