Dollywood has another national theme-park honor heading into Memorial Day weekend. The National Amusement Park Historical Association named the Pigeon Forge park its favorite theme park for 2026, giving Dollywood the title for the fourth straight year.
The annual NAPHA survey is in its 40th year. Members have visited more than 110 theme parks on average, and the group said members visited an average of 12 parks during 2025.
Disneyland Park in Anaheim finished second in the favorite theme park category. Knoebels Amusement Resort in Pennsylvania was named favorite traditional amusement park.
The honor lands during a busy 2026 season for Dollywood. The park's Flower & Food Festival runs through June 7, and NightFlight Expedition remains one of the regional park world's closely watched ride openings for the year.
Dollywood has collected plenty of industry recognition lately. The park was Tripadvisor's top U.S. theme park for 2025, 2024, and 2022, and it won three Golden Ticket Awards in 2025 for Best Guest Experience, Best Kids' Area, and Best Family Coaster.
