D23 has scheduled a Walt Disney Birthplace tour in Chicago for Sunday, June 28, 2026, with tickets going on sale Friday, May 22, at 10 a.m. PT, noon CT, and 1 p.m. ET.
The event brings D23 members to the house at 2156 North Tripp Avenue, where Walt Disney was born on December 5, 1901. The stop is part of D23's Walt Disney: 125 Years of Inspiration series, which marks the 125th anniversary year of Disney's birth.
Gold Member tickets cost $34 plus a $3 processing fee. General Member tickets cost $39 plus the same processing fee. D23 members may reserve a ticket for themselves and up to three guests.
What the ticket includes
The June 28 event includes a guided tour of The Walt Disney Birthplace, an event credential, a lapel pin created by the Birthplace shop, an Ozell soda, and time to shop additional Birthplace merchandise.
Tour slots run in half-hour blocks from noon to 4 p.m. CT. Check-in begins 30 minutes before the ticketed tour time, and the guided tour itself lasts 30 minutes.
The Chicago house
The Walt Disney Birthplace operates tours of the restored Hermosa neighborhood home. Chicago tourism materials also point visitors to the same Tripp Avenue address for guided tours tied to Disney's early childhood.
The D23 event adds a fan-club layer to that regular museum setting: smaller timed groups, named ticket holders, member check-in, and gifts tied to the house. Tickets are non-transferable, and each adult guest may need to show a government-issued ID that matches the name on the ticket.
