Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure leaves Universal Orlando Resort's Express Pass lineup July 1, removing paid line-skipping access from one of Islands of Adventure's busiest coasters.
WDW News Today reported the change Tuesday after Hagrid's disappeared from Universal's Express Pass attraction list. The outlet also found the Express Pass tag missing from Universal's Hagrid attraction page, while Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey still showed Express access in its ride details.
Universal Orlando briefly added Hagrid's to Express Pass in 2025, a major shift for a ride that opened in 2019 without standard Express access and has spent years as one of Hogsmeade's biggest draws.
Hagrid's Express Pass Change
Express Pass lets guests use shorter ride queues at participating Universal Orlando attractions after they add the paid product to valid admission. After June 30, Hagrid's returns to a standby-first setup unless Universal announces another access option.
CrowdLevels' live Islands of Adventure feed showed Hagrid's operating with a 100-minute posted wait at 3:05 p.m. CDT on May 26.
