runDisney postponed general registration for the 2027 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend on Tuesday after the public launch did not begin at its scheduled 10 a.m. ET time.
The official event status is now Registration Coming Soon. An 11 a.m. runDisney Instagram Story update, captured by WDW News Today, said registration would not take place Tuesday and that runDisney would share another update on its social accounts by 8 p.m. ET.
runDisney later said registration will not open this week. The new date and time will be announced at least 24 hours before registration opens, and another update is due on runDisney social accounts by 8 p.m. ET Wednesday, June 3.
Earlier Tuesday updates had pushed the registration announcement first to 10:30 a.m. ET and then to 11 a.m. ET. runDisney has not announced a new public registration date.
What runners were trying to register for
The 2027 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend runs February 25 through March 1 at Walt Disney World. The lineup includes a Tiana-themed 5K, a Snow White-themed 10K, a Jasmine-themed half marathon, the Ariel-themed Fairy Tale Challenge, and Disney Princess Yoga at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
The half marathon is scheduled for February 28, with a 5 a.m. ET start. General registration had been posted for June 2 at 10 a.m. ET, while Club runDisney Gold and Platinum registration began May 26.
The half marathon registration price is $269 through November 30, then $279 beginning December 1. Prices include a 6.6% platform service fee.
