Project Purple Construction at Six Flags Great Adventure
Six Flags Great Adventure's 2027 roller coaster has reached vertical construction, with the first pieces installed near the Boardwalk area.
The final attraction name has not been announced. Six Flags is using Project Purple for the coaster and has tied the project to a partnership with Project Purple, the pancreatic cancer nonprofit.
The ride is planned for 2027. Six Flags has described it as a record-breaking multi-launch coaster and one of the tallest coaster projects in the world, but the park has not released the full layout, manufacturer, opening date, or final ride name.
