Universal Horror Unleashed plans its first new haunted house for August 2027, with a new anime horror experience also planned for May 2027 at the Las Vegas venue.
The two-year slate came out of a May 30 Monsterpalooza panel reported by Haunted Attraction Network and Attractions Magazine. The panel included Universal Destinations & Experiences leaders Del Wynegar, Michael Naumann, and Kim Scott.
Universal Horror Unleashed opened in August 2025 near AREA15 with four walk-through haunted houses, bars, lounges, food, cocktails, and live entertainment. Universal has since used limited-time programming to make the permanent horror venue more repeatable between Halloween seasons.
2026 additions
The next wave starts this summer with a nightly event tied to a movie or television property that has not been named yet. Premiere House also gets a new dinner show starring Jack the Clown and Chance from June through August.
Food, Film, Frights returns in September with a new character. HamiKuma, the zombie-bear mascot from Universal Studios Japan's Halloween Horror Nights, returns from September through October with a new stage show.
October brings two new original icons, followed by a new Premiere House experience in October and November. Krampus & Kin returns from November into January in the venue's flex space, a room Haunted Attraction Network reported at about 7,000 square feet.
2027 slate
Food, Film, Frights is planned again in January 2027. A Valentine's Day experience follows in February, then a new Jack the Clown stage show in March.
Feaster Grievings 2 runs from March through May after the 2026 spring event introduced Feaster Bunny. May brings the anime horror experience, and June through August brings a new outdoor experience built around a major property.
The first new haunted house arrives in August 2027. Krampus & Kin then returns in November 2027 through January 2028 in what Universal described at the panel as its final run.
