Universal Orlando detailed Volcano Bay Nights, the after-dark event running at Universal Volcano Bay from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on select nights.

The event includes access to water park attractions, a live DJ, character appearances from DreamWorks Animation, and event-exclusive food and drinks. It requires a separate event ticket.

Volcano Bay Nights already sat inside Universal Orlando's larger summer lineup, but the new official guide gives guests a clearer look at what the water park event adds after sunset.

Volcano Bay Nights Food

The exclusive menu includes a Ropa Vieja Mac and Cheese Cone, Waturi Sunset cocktail, blue raspberry churro bites, Shaka Rocka Rainbow Popcorn, and a chicken-bacon-ranch Mac and Cheese Cone.

Universal also lists a crab rangoon baked potato and a Waturi Luau Platter for the event. The menu is built for walk-around water park eating, which makes sense for a four-hour night event where guests are moving between pools, slides, and the beach areas around Krakatau.

What Guests Get After Dark

DreamWorks character appearances are part of the night. Universal also says the event has shorter waits for attractions, though CrowdLevels is not using outside wait claims for this story.

The timing gives Universal a useful summer heat escape. Volcano Bay can be a midday reset on a normal park day, but Volcano Bay Nights turns the water park into an evening plan with food, music, and the volcano lit after dark.
