Six Flags memberships expand to six additional parks on Monday, June 8, bringing the company's subscription-style access program to more former Cedar Fair properties.
Six Flags Membership Parks Added June 8
Gold Memberships include access to a designated regional group of parks. Six Flags uses four regions: East, Midwest, Texas, and West.
The East region adds Carowinds, Dorney Park, and Kings Dominion. The Midwest region adds Kings Island. The Texas region adds Schlitterbahn New Braunfels, and the West region adds Knott's Berry Farm and Knott's Soak City.
Prestige Memberships include access to all Six Flags parks. Six Flags said perks and pricing for the six added parks will be available through SixFlags.com when the launch opens June 8.
Cedar Point Is Not in This Membership Rollout
Six Flags also named three major holdouts. Memberships are not currently available at Cedar Point, Canada's Wonderland, or California's Great America.
The rollout gives passholders another look at how the merged Six Flags and Cedar Fair system is sorting regional access. Dorney Park had already been preparing a June 8 membership launch, and the June 5 corporate release confirms the wider six-park rollout and the full regional structure.
How Six Flags Memberships Work
Six Flags describes the new Memberships as a 12-month access product with monthly payments after an initial payment. After the first 12 months, active Memberships continue month to month.
Gold and Prestige tiers include multiple-park access, discounts on food and merchandise, bring-a-friend offers, seasonal promotions, and loyalty rewards. Free general parking is not available at Knott's Berry Farm or Canada's Wonderland.
