Universal Kids Resort will open July 1 with themed stores and character merchandise tied to Shrek, SpongeBob SquarePants, Jurassic World, Trolls, Minions, Puss in Boots, and Gabby's Dollhouse.
The Frisco, Texas, park has retail locations planned for each of its seven lands, plus a flagship Universal Kids Resort Store near the center of the park. The lineup includes apparel, plush, toys, hats, shoulder pals, accessories, sweets, and makeover items for younger guests.
Universal is building the stores at child scale, with lower displays and retail rooms that match the lands around them. The Frisco park is built around short walks, play areas, sensory gardens, character-heavy spaces, and a hotel next to the entrance.
Universal Kids Resort Merchandise Locations
- Jurassic World Adventure Camp gets Jurassic World Outfitters, with dinosaur apparel, masks, action figures, hatching dinosaur eggs, LEGO sets, glowing egg keychains, and sleeping dinosaur plush.
- SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom gets Barg'N-Mart, with a Glove World plush hat, SpongeBob and Plankton shoulder pals, plush rings, bucket hats, apparel, toys, and character plush.
- Shrek's Swamp gets Triplets Treasures, with matching ogre hoodies for kids and adults, ogre ears, Shrek and Donkey shoulder pals, apparel, accessories, and plush.
- Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club gets Bello Bay Boutique, with Team Yellow and Team Purple apparel, accessories, headwear, and Minion plush.
- TrollsFest gets Sparkle Shine Glitter Glow, with the Troll-ify Me! Experience, colorful wigs, headwear, apparel, makeup, and accessories.
- Puss in Boots Del Mar gets Mercado de Perrito for apparel and cosplay items, with themed sweets next door at Tienda de Dulces.
- Isle of Curiosity gets the flagship Universal Kids Resort Store, with merchandise from all seven lands and an expanded Gabby's Dollhouse assortment.
Some Universal Kids Resort items are already available through Shop Universal, giving families a way to buy select pieces before the Frisco park opens.
The retail reveal follows Universal's May 28 opening-date announcement. Universal Kids Resort opens July 1 with a 300-room hotel, ticket packages, annual passes, and seven lands built around DreamWorks Animation, Illumination, Nickelodeon, and Jurassic World characters.
