Disney Parks released a June 9 video with The Lion King land models for Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris.

27 Hidden Secrets in Disney Adventure World tours Walt Disney Studios Park as it becomes Disney Adventure World. The Pride Lands segment includes model work for Pride Rock and figure studies for young Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa.

The figures match the attraction scene Disney previously showed in concept art, where young Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa appear together on a fallen log. The new footage shows that scene as dimensional figures rather than flat concept art and model photos.

The Lion King Ride at Disneyland Paris

The planned Pride Lands attraction sends guests beneath a 37-meter Pride Rock for a water ride based on the 1994 animated film. The ride is planned with Audio-Animatronics figures, special effects, songs from the movie, and three slopes, including a 16-meter descent.

Disneyland Paris began construction on the Lion King area in fall 2025. The land is part of the continuing Disney Adventure World expansion after World of Frozen, Adventure Way, Adventure Bay, Raiponce Tangled Spin, and Disney Cascade of Lights.

Disneyland Paris has not announced an opening date for the Pride Lands. The June 9 video shows current model and figure work without adding a date.
