Universal Orlando is accepting animated costumed character performer submissions for part-time positions at Universal Epic Universe.

The official audition is open to performers in three height ranges: 4 feet 10 inches to 5 feet 3 inches, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches, and 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet. Submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. EST on June 20, 2026.

Universal is asking candidates to attach a headshot, resume, full-length photo, and audition video links to their audition profile. The video prompt asks performers to state their name and height, turn slowly with arms extended, and silently act out a one-minute scene.

The listing does not name specific characters. Epic Universe already uses fully costumed animated characters in areas such as Super Nintendo World, while other lands lean more heavily on face characters, puppets, and atmospheric entertainment.

Applicants must be at least 18 and able to work in the United States. Universal also notes that performers need to be comfortable in full-body costumes outdoors in Florida weather and available two to three days a week, including daytime, evening, and weekend shifts.
