BlogMickey reported Monday that track installation is complete for the Spider-Man roller coaster under construction at Shanghai Disneyland.
The coaster anchors the park's new Spider-Man-themed land, which will become Shanghai Disneyland's first major Marvel attraction area.
Spider-Man Coaster Construction
Shanghai Disney Resort broke ground on the land in May 2025. Vertical construction began later that year, and the resort marked the start of coaster track installation in September 2025.
The attraction is planned as a high-speed Spider-Man coaster and remains under construction.
Shanghai Disneyland Marvel Expansion
The Spider-Man land is Shanghai Disneyland's ninth themed land and the park's third major expansion after Disney Pixar Toy Story Land and Zootopia.
The construction update landed one day before Shanghai Disney Resort's 10th anniversary on June 16. The resort also named Disney Enchanted Star Hotel during the anniversary event earlier Monday.
