La Cocina de Cobre opens June 20 at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, bringing a new Mexican restaurant to Crackaxle Canyon in San Antonio.
The restaurant replaces Bubba's Burgers. Six Flags Fiesta Texas is serving chicken flautas, birria tacos, chimichangas, cheese quesadillas, and other Mexican dishes from the new location.
Amusement Today, which published the park's announcement, reported that the grand opening celebration runs from noon to 1:45 p.m. CDT on June 20 with performances by Mariachi Los Soberanos.

The new restaurant sits in Crackaxle Canyon, the same western steampunk section that houses Iron Rattler, Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger, and several older Fiesta Texas food and drink stops.
The opening gives Six Flags Fiesta Texas another summer dining change during a busy season for the park. FiestaLuz, the park's nightly drone show, started June 15 and runs through Aug. 9, with a two-night break for Star-Spangled Nights fireworks on July 3 and 4.
