Magic Kingdom July 4 Reservations Fill for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders

Annual Passholders need a Magic Kingdom reservation for July 4 because the holiday falls on a Saturday.

Magic Kingdom park reservations for July 4 are unavailable for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders, according to WDWMagic.

The date matters because July 4, 2026, falls on a Saturday. Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can usually enter a theme park without a reservation after 2 p.m., but Disney excludes Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom from that benefit.

Magic Kingdom July 4 Reservations

Passholders without a Magic Kingdom reservation need another valid entry path, such as an available reservation at a different park followed by Park Hopper access, subject to blockout dates and capacity limits.

Disney says Annual Passholders must enter the first park tied to their reservation before visiting another park. Park hopping remains subject to capacity, so a different first-park reservation does not guarantee Magic Kingdom entry if the park later reaches a guest limit.

Fourth of July at Walt Disney World

Magic Kingdom has Disney's Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky scheduled at 9:20 p.m. on July 3 and July 4. EPCOT has its Fourth of July fireworks tag, Heartbeat of Freedom, scheduled after Luminous The Symphony of Us at 9 p.m. on July 4.

Holiday fireworks make Magic Kingdom one of Walt Disney World's hardest same-day targets. Passholders who already have July 4 reservations should treat the day like a full-park day if fireworks are the priority.
