Universal Studios Japan's Cinema Night Picnic: Discover U ends Sunday, June 28, at Gramercy Park, with Minions scheduled for the final 6:30 p.m. Japan time screening.

The outdoor movie event has run across 10 weekend dates from June 5 through June 28 as part of the Osaka park's 25th anniversary Discover U program. Each date has one Japanese-dubbed film, with guests watching from the Gramercy Park lawn.

Final Cinema Night Picnic Schedule

Minions closes the schedule June 28. Earlier dates included Jaws, Jurassic Park, The Blues Brothers, Backdraft, Waterworld, Back to the Future, E.T., and Jurassic World.

Universal Studios Japan also has extended food-cart hours beside Sing On Tour and in front of Space Fantasy: The Ride, plus a drink cart around Gramercy Park during the event.

Annual Passholder Sticker

Annual passholders can show a valid pass at the food and goods cart for a Cinema Night original sticker. The sticker is available while supplies last, and the park warns that the perk can change or end without advance notice.

The park also bars filming the screen during the movie. Bad weather, system issues, or operational changes can alter or cancel the screening.
