Disneyland Resort has selected the Avengers Campus Test & Adjust team that will help prepare Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab at Disney California Adventure.
The cast-member team will work with Walt Disney Imagineering on on-site testing for the Avengers Campus expansion in the coming months. The work includes attraction queues, loading and unloading, ride protocols, and other details that have to be tested before the new rides open to guests.
Mark Diwas, a Disneyland Resort program development project manager, is helping lead the team after joining the Avengers Campus expansion project in 2024. His past test-and-adjust work at Disneyland Resort included Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters, and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.
Two Avengers Campus Rides
Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab were announced during Disney's D23 announcements in 2024. The expansion is planned to double the size of Avengers Campus.
Avengers Infinity Defense is built around a multiverse battle with King Thanos. Stark Flight Lab puts guests in two-person pods that move to a test station before a robotic arm lifts and moves the pod through a simulated flight.
Disney has not announced an opening date for either attraction.
