Disney Celebrates America: The Pursuit of Happiness is now streaming on Disney+ and Hulu after its Monday night ABC debut.
The two-hour special uses Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort as anchors for Disney's America 250 programming, with Deborah Roberts hosting from Florida and Will Reeve hosting from California.
Now on Disney+ and Hulu
The special includes Disney park scenes from Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom, Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park, and Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
It also follows stories outside the parks, including Hawaiian surfing culture with Moana Jones Wong, ocean conservation with Dr. Sylvia Earle, music history at J&M Recording Studio in New Orleans, Pan Am, baseball, old Hollywood, and ABC's Apollo 11 coverage.
Disney's America 250 Slate
The streaming release follows a broader Disney Celebrates America rollout that already includes Soarin' Across America at EPCOT and Disney California Adventure, patriotic July 4 entertainment, Sam Eagle merchandise, food items, and military-family events.
CrowdLevels first covered the ABC special on June 24, when ABC posted the broadcast details and official trailer. The streaming move gives Disney+ and Hulu subscribers another way to watch the park-heavy special before the July 4 weekend.
