Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will temporarily close starting September 9 at Walt Disney World.
Walt Disney World is directing guests to Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park during the closure. A reopening date has not been announced.
The change lands just after the final scheduled 2026 Disney H2O Glow After Hours at Typhoon Lagoon. That separately ticketed event is still listed for select summer nights through September 5.
Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach have both been open for the 2026 summer season. The September change returns Walt Disney World to one operating water park after Labor Day weekend.
