The 2026 lineup marks the 15th anniversary of Halloween Horror Nights at the Osaka park. The event includes Biohazard Requiem: The Dive, Jaws Red Alert, Jurassic Park in the Dark, Sadako's Curse: Dark Horror Ride and the returning Chainsaw Man overlay.
Universal Studios Japan Halloween Horror Nights 2026 Lineup
Halloween Horror Nights runs Sept. 11 through Nov. 8. Biohazard Requiem: The Dive is a new limited-time horror attraction tied to Capcom's Biohazard Requiem and runs longer than the core HHN season, from Sept. 11 through Dec. 27.
Jaws Red Alert also begins Sept. 11 and stays on the schedule through Jan. 31. Jurassic Park in the Dark runs Sept. 11 through Nov. 8, while Sadako's Curse: Dark Horror Ride runs Sept. 11 through Jan. 4.
- Sept. 1-Jan. 17: Hogwarts Castle Walk returns in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
- Sept. 10-Jan. 11: Super Nintendo World holds a 5th anniversary meet-and-greet with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, Yoshi and Donkey Kong.
- Sept. 11-Nov. 8: Halloween Horror Nights, Jurassic Park in the Dark and the core zombie-street programming run on the autumn calendar.
- Sept. 11-Dec. 27: Biohazard Requiem: The Dive runs as a limited-time horror attraction.
- Sept. 11-Jan. 31: Jaws Red Alert adds a limited-time version of the boat ride.
Ticket Sale Dates for USJ Autumn 2026
The one-day autumn student pass goes on sale at noon Japan time on Friday, July 10. The discounted student ticket covers visitors from junior high school through university and is valid from Sept. 10 through Sept. 30.
The paid Halloween Horror Nights Academy reserved viewing area and the VIP Experience group tour go on sale at noon Japan time on Tuesday, July 14. Express Pass 4: Halloween Horror Night Set, Horror Night Thrilling Set and Fun Set go on sale at 3 p.m. Japan time the same day.
Universal Annual Pass Standard holders get a separate exclusion-date discount. The park will sell one-day Studio Passes at 50% off for those passholders starting at noon Japan time on Wednesday, July 15, for eligible exclusion dates from Sept. 12 through Dec. 31.
Jaws, Jurassic Park and Hogwarts Castle Walk
Jaws Red Alert gives Universal Studios Japan a dated overlay for one of the park's classic boat rides. Jurassic Park in the Dark brings a night version to the area as the park keeps Jurassic World Journey active elsewhere in the 2026 anniversary year.
Hogwarts Castle Walk starts earlier than the horror lineup, opening Sept. 1 and continuing into January. The walk-through returns during Universal Studios Japan's Back to Hogwarts stretch and stays open after Halloween Horror Nights ends.
