Who should go
The evening lineup includes street zombies after 6 p.m., horror attractions, ride overlays and paid add-ons that can shorten attraction waits.
Families with younger kids can stay with the daytime program. Minion Belloween, trick-or-treating, Super Nintendo World character greetings and Hogwarts Castle Walk all run before the street zombies take over at night.
Gramercy Park hosts HHN Academy, so groups planning to see the anniversary show should check its performance time before choosing attraction reservations.
Halloween Horror Nights lineup
Biohazard Requiem: The Dive is the main new horror attraction. It uses the Renwood Hotel and sanatorium setting from Capcom's 2026 game, with creatures approaching from several directions inside Stage 18.
The HHN slate also includes Street Zombies, Zombie de Dance, a final-night Playback Zombie de Dance performance, Halloween Horror Nights Academy, Factory of Fear, Sadako's Curse, KATE PRESENTS 18-Banchi no Majo, Chainsaw Man: The Chaos 4-D, Smiley's Happy Halloween Greeting and two Hollywood Dream ride music overlays.
Halloween Horror Nights Academy brings 15 seasons of music and characters together in Gramercy Park. The show uses “Rat-tat-tat,” “Show” and “SO BAD,” with returning zombies, Hamikuma and other horror characters.

Jaws, Jurassic Park, Hogwarts and family programming
Jaws Red Alert gives Universal Studios Japan a dated overlay for one of the park's classic boat rides. Ride it after dark if you can. The red mist and nighttime setup are the point.
Jurassic Park in the Dark keeps the regular ride format and changes the nighttime setting. It runs only through Nov. 8, so it will not be available for December or January trips.
Hogwarts Castle Walk starts before the horror lineup, opening Sept. 1 and continuing into January. Harry Potter fans can visit it without staying for the evening HHN program.
For kids, aim for daylight: Minion Belloween, trick-or-treating around most of the park, Halloween character art and the Super Nintendo World 5th anniversary greetings. Keep in mind that trick-or-treating excludes Super Nintendo World and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
