Disney Tales of Magic is running without pyrotechnic effects at Disneyland Paris from Friday, July 10, through Wednesday, July 15, 2026, because of local authority restrictions tied to the heatwave affecting the area.

The show remains scheduled in an adapted version on its normal nights during that window. Disney Tales of Magic will not run Tuesday, July 14, while Disneyland Park celebrates Bastille Day.

Disney Tales of Magic Heatwave Changes

Disney Tales of Magic normally uses projections, lights, music, drones, and fireworks on Sleeping Beauty Castle and Main Street, U.S.A. The temporary version removes the pyrotechnic effects while the local restrictions are in place.

Guests looking for a second nighttime show can still see Disney Cascade of Lights in Disney Adventure World. Showtimes can change, so guests should check the official Disneyland Paris app on the day of their visit.

Bastille Day at Disneyland Paris

The July 14 pause matters for guests planning the holiday night. Disneyland Park's Bastille Day celebration replaces Disney Tales of Magic that evening, while Disney Cascade of Lights remains available in Disney Adventure World.
