Cedar Point's ride operations team earned a High Pass, the highest score available on an International Ride Operator Certification audit. Team members Kiya and Dovydas also received individual Golden Thumb awards.
iROC audits are unannounced and review a random sample of 12 rides. Auditors score safety, efficiency and professionalism while observing each location.
International Ride Training launched iROC in 2011. The certification and audit program is used by parks and attractions across the industry.
