A park-used section of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and pieces from Muppet*Vision 3D are among the first lots revealed for the Disney Experiences Auction on Aug. 16 at D23 in Anaheim.
Heritage Auctions will run the live and online sale at the Anaheim Convention Center. Bidding is expected to open July 20.
Park-used Disney auction pieces
The Big Thunder piece comes from car 502 at Magic Kingdom. It is the third passenger row, mounted on faux track with Big Thunder Iron Works boiler plates and a Cinderella Castle emblem. The display measures 56 by 42 by 24 inches, weighs 211 pounds and includes a Disney Certificate of Verification.
The Muppet*Vision lots include a 66-inch Miss Piggy figure that once stood high on the theater walls at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The fiberglass figure weighs 78 pounds. A park-used 3-D glasses distribution bin from the pre-show is also in the catalog.

Other preview lots include Haunted Mansion props, an Indiana Jones Adventure mummy, Tower of Terror furniture, Disney California Adventure carousel vehicles, an EPCOT Spaceship Earth exit sign and a Big Thunder Ranch backdrop. Heritage is still adding descriptions and images to the catalog.
A 22 percent buyer's premium applies, with a $29 minimum per lot. A D23 event ticket is required to enter the auction room, and Heritage warns that admission is not guaranteed.
