Attendance at Disney's domestic parks rose 3% in the fiscal third quarter. Disney Experiences revenue increased 10% to $9.97 billion, while segment operating income climbed 20% to $3.02 billion.

Walt Disney World recorded healthy attendance growth from domestic tourists and annual passholders. Domestic parks and experiences posted 11% revenue growth, while the U.S. parks, Disney Cruise Line, Consumer Products and Disneyland Paris offset softer results at Disney's Asian parks.

Per-capita spending at Disney's domestic parks grew 4%. Roughly 6% volume growth and 3% rate growth drove the global Experiences revenue increase.

Disney Revenue Reaches $25.2 Billion

Companywide revenue increased 7% to $25.2 billion. Total segment operating income rose 21% to $5.6 billion, and adjusted earnings per share increased from $1.61 to $2.06.

Toy Story 5 crossed $1 billion at the global box office and helped Consumer Products deliver its strongest year-over-year revenue growth in 20 quarters. The Devil Wears Prada 2 performed well internationally, while Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu and the live-action Moana fell short of Disney's box-office expectations.

TikTok Creator Videos Are Coming to Disney+ Verts

Disney also announced an agreement with TikTok that will bring a curated feed of fan-created videos featuring Disney characters and stories to Verts on Disney+. The partnership includes a creator ambassador program and a pipeline of short-form videos for the streaming service.

Disney plans to roughly triple its slate of local original series on Disney+ over the next three years. Entertainment streaming revenue grew 11% in the quarter, with subscription revenue up 15%.

Disney's longer-term plan would turn Disney+ into a broader membership ecosystem connecting streaming with other Disney services. The near-term work includes deeper Hulu integration, more sports, improved search and recommendations, and more personalized home screens.
