Fast & Furious: Supercharged will permanently close Aug. 16 at Universal Studios Florida. Universal Orlando Annual Passholders announced the new final day Wednesday morning.
Universal had previously placed the closure in 2027. The company said the earlier date will help make way for Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift, the outdoor coaster opening next year on the former Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit site.
CrowdLevels recorded a 10-minute posted wait at 11:15 a.m. EDT Wednesday. The ride averaged 12 minutes across 8,527 wait samples during the previous 90 days.

The attraction sends guests through a garage and Tej's War Room before the motion-simulator party-bus finale with Dom, Letty, Hobbs and Roman. Universal has not announced what will replace the Supercharged building.
Aug. 16 falls on a Sunday. The attraction remains on Universal Orlando's current ride list until its final operating day.
