The Disney Lorcana Curator's Collection: Heroines Edition drew an overnight queue that wrapped around the London Disney Store and down Oxford Street Friday morning.
One collector arrived at midnight as roughly the 200th person in line. A later firsthand estimate put the pre-opening crowd above 350.
The limited set was scheduled to go on sale July 17 at the London and Dublin Disney Stores, select Disney Parks shops and DisneyStore.com.au. It includes six full-art foil cards featuring Ariel, Elsa, Jasmine, Mulan, Anna and Tinker Bell.
The collection is also available at Disney Springs and Downtown Disney District. Disney Lorcana did not announce how many sets were available in London.
Update: The London Disney Store remained closed Friday morning, and people in the queue were told the Heroines Edition drop was canceled because of safety concerns. Another collector at Oxford Street reported the same cancellation.
