Disney's Hollywood Studios now assigns each party at Alien Swirling Saucers to a numbered rocket before guests enter the loading platform.
Cast Members give each group a number that matches a star-shaped floor marker and a white numeral on the ride vehicle. WDW News Today documented the new setup Saturday with photos from both loading areas.
The ride has 11 rockets on each of its two platforms. Guests now wait at the assigned marker, then board the rocket with the same number when the platform opens.
The change follows a May permit for set-element work at the attraction. Disney did not connect that filing to the new loading markers.
