Minions, Ernie and Bert take over the streets at Universal Studios Japan in new photos from Universal Summer Matsuri Nights: Neon Glow Up, which runs through Aug. 26.

The Minion BOO-YA Block Party turns the stage outside Mel's Drive-In into an '80s electro-pop dance set twice each night.

Summer Night Street Action pairs Ernie and Bert with a glowing double-Dutch routine. Summer Beat Splash adds live percussion and water, while nearby festival games offer neon 25th-anniversary prizes.

Universal Summer Matsuri Nights Hours and Tickets

The larger evening program runs from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on most dates through Aug. 26. It will not run Aug. 21.

Night Pass admission begins at 5 p.m. and costs ¥5,300 for adults and ¥3,400 for children ages 4 to 11.
