The Muppets performed during the first FIFA World Cup final halftime show on Sunday at New York New Jersey Stadium.
Animal played drums with the house band during Seven Nation Army as Gustavo Dudamel conducted the orchestra. The 11-minute show also featured Madonna, BTS, Justin Bieber, Shakira and Burna Boy.
Chris Martin, Shakira and the PS22 Chorus closed the performance with Kermit, Miss Piggy and more Muppets. Count von Count, Cookie Monster and other Sesame Street characters joined them.
FIFA and Global Citizen announced the halftime show in May. The performance supported a fund seeking $100 million for education and youth soccer programs.
