Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said he feels like a “gigantic loser and failure” because the studio has not made its Blade movie with Mahershala Ali.
Feige contrasted the stalled Ali project with Wesley Snipes' return as Blade in Deadpool & Wolverine. Josh Horowitz asked about the movie during an interview recorded as Marvel promotes Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Marvel introduced Ali as Blade during its 2019 Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con. The movie remains on Marvel's official film page with Ali as its only listed cast member and no release date.
