Disney Store Shinsaibashi Parco will open on the fifth floor of the Osaka shopping center on August 26.
The 1,000-square-meter store uses a Japan-first “magical journey” design built around the Train of Wonder. Stitch appears as the train's engineer at the entrance, while Chip and Dale make pixie dust deeper inside the store.
Shinsaibashi Parco Opening Details
About 1,500 Disney and Pixar products will fill the store. The opening lineup includes 23 Shinsaibashi exclusives, with Mickey and Friends in striped outfits and Osaka details such as takoyaki, okonomiyaki spatulas and confetti.
Guests will need a Disney Store Club app reservation to enter on opening day. The store will operate from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 1-8-3 Shinsaibashisuji in Osaka's Chuo Ward.
