Universal Studios Japan is recruiting participants for Zanzo, its R-18 Halloween Horror Nights experience. At the REM Abnormal Research Institute, what participants see during the trial is treated as afterimages.
Zanzo is the first Halloween Horror Nights experience at the park limited to adults. Guests age 17 and younger cannot enter, and each participant must sign a waiver before the experience.

Zanzo Runs at Stage 18 from September 11 to November 8
The separate paid attraction runs at Stage 18 from 10 a.m. until park close between September 11 and November 8. Tickets start at ¥1,900 including tax. Guests must place all belongings in the entrance lockers, and sharing details of the experience online or in conversation is prohibited.
Universal Studios Japan Halloween Horror Nights 2026 runs from September 11 through November 8. The lineup includes Resident Evil Requiem: The Dive, Factory of Fear, Sadako's Curse and Chainsaw Man: The Chaos 4-D.
