Disneyland Paris has released the first full procession photos of The Disney Princess Cavalcade, which starts July 24 at Disney Adventure World.
The new images show the Moana and Rapunzel floats moving along Adventure Way with dancers and guests on both sides of the route. Separate floats for Raya and Tiana complete the four-princess lineup.
Four Floats and Two Original Songs
The four floats were built in Nice by a company that usually works in street art. Each princess has a distinct setting. Rapunzel's float carries Pascal, while Pua and Heihei appear with Moana. Tuk Tuk joins Raya, and Louis accompanies Tiana.
Disneyland Paris recorded two original songs for the production with almost 50 musicians in Nashville and Paris. One plays as the procession moves. The other accompanies the show stops.
The cast completed 287 hours of rehearsals before the opening. The production team spent about a year and a half developing the show, including its costumes and choreography.
Where the Cavalcade Runs
The year-round cavalcade begins near the future Lion King-themed area, travels down Adventure Way and turns near The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge. Show times will appear in the Disneyland Paris app.
Guests can join a short interactive section during the return trip. Moana leads dance movements inspired by the Pacific Islands, while Raya demonstrates movements drawn from martial arts. The Disney Marching Band closes the procession.
Disneyland Paris first confirmed the complete character lineup on July 2. That earlier announcement covers the route and the first character portraits.
