Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation: Episode of Savanaclaw will begin streaming on Disney+ in December 2026. Disney has not announced an exact date.
The second chapter centers on Savanaclaw housewarden Leona Kingscholar and fellow students Jack Howl and Ruggie Bucchi. Yūichirō Umehara, Taito Ban and Aoi Ichikawa return as the three characters.
A Lion King-inspired corner of Night Raven College
Twisted-Wonderland began as a mobile role-playing game built around students whose designs draw from Disney villains. The story places its lead at Night Raven College, a magic school divided into dorms inspired by movies including Alice in Wonderland, The Little Mermaid and The Lion King.
Savanaclaw is the Lion King-inspired dorm. Leona carries echoes of Scar, while Jack and Ruggie draw on other animals from the Pride Lands. That connection provides the visual language for the new key art, but the anime follows its own school story rather than retelling the film.
The anime adapts the manga version of Episode of Savanaclaw, written from Yana Toboso's game scenario and illustrated by Suzuka Oda. Disney has not said how closely the episodes will follow every part of the comic.

The creative team returns
Takahiro Natori remains chief director and series composer, with Shin Katagai directing. Yōichi Katō is the main writer, and Yumeta Company and Graphinica handle animation production.
The first chapter, Episode of Heartslabyul, debuted in October 2025. Disney said it became the most-watched Japanese animation on Disney+ worldwide during its first seven days. The company did not disclose a viewing total.
