The remaining scrim has come down from the Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom. The attraction's full refreshed facade is visible again.
Current on-site photos from WDW News Today show the building uncovered on July 31. The exterior now carries deeper red brick tones, darker trim and a muted green roof palette that recalls its early Magic Kingdom appearance.
The work covered most of the facade
Scrim spread across much of the building during the exterior refurbishment earlier this year. Portions began coming down in July, exposing the new colors in stages. The July 31 removal marks the first full look at the finished front.
The attraction remained open while the exterior work progressed. Walt Disney World's official attraction page continues to list regular operating hours.
A Florida facade built for Liberty Square
Disney describes the Magic Kingdom mansion as a red-brick, colonial-style building inspired by the Harry Packer Mansion in Pennsylvania. Its Gothic arches, stone base and Tudor-style brickwork were designed to fit Liberty Square when the attraction opened in 1971.
