D23 members at the Cars 20th anniversary screening received Radiator Springs postcards, a Cozy Cone Motel patch and a Disney+ Hulu Throwbacks mystery pin Saturday evening.
The August 1 screening brought Cars to the Autry Museum of the American West in Los Angeles. D23 members who purchased through the fan club also received 30-minute early entry and first access to a reserved viewing area.
D23 Member Screening Perks
D23 sold Gold Member tickets for $29 plus a $3 processing fee and General Member tickets for $34 plus the fee. The member package promised an exclusive themed event gift and one Disney+ Hulu Throwbacks mystery pin bag.
Doors opened for D23 ticket holders at 5:30 p.m. PDT, followed by the pre-show at 7:45 p.m. and the film at 8:15 p.m. The outdoor event also included Lightning McQueen and Mater photo opportunities and food trucks.
Update: The pre-show also included a raffle for five Cars vinyl soundtracks and one bonus prize from the Autry Museum.
