Fyre Drill will close January 25 through February 4, 2027, according to Universal Orlando's current attraction calendar. The interactive water ride is in How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk at Universal Epic Universe.
Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey will close February 8 through February 19, 2027. That ride is inside Hogwarts Castle at Universal Islands of Adventure.
Two parks, two closure windows
The dates leave three operating days between the scheduled Fyre Drill reopening and the start of the Forbidden Journey closure. Guests visiting across both windows should check Universal Orlando's calendar again before arrival because operating schedules can change.
Fyre Drill has no minimum height, though children under 48 inches need a supervising companion and hand-held infants cannot ride. Its boats carry water cannons that can reach targets and other boats across the course.
Forbidden Journey has a 48-inch minimum height. The motion-simulation ride moves through scenes above Hogwarts grounds, including the Forbidden Forest and Quidditch pitch.
