Update: Six Ravens began its soft opening at Disney Springs Monday, Aug. 3. The shop is using a virtual queue when the line gets long and limiting guests to two Coffyns per paying guest, according to WDWNT's report.

Six Ravens began its soft opening at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3, at Disney Springs, a few doors from Gideon's Bakehouse. Founder Steve Lewis confirmed the date in an interview with the Orlando Sentinel.

Lewis said the team plans to use a first-come, first-served virtual queue when needed, following the system at Gideon's. Staff will add guests to the queue as they arrive instead of asking everyone to stay in a physical line.

Walt Disney World's Six Ravens listing and full menu are live. The restaurant missed an earlier July 20 opening date after operating hours briefly appeared online; its grand-opening timing has not been announced.

Seven $10.99 Coffyns

The menu has seven Coffyn hand pies at $10.99 each. Fillings range from a cheeseburger with dill pickle bits to pesto chicken, pulled pork mac and cheese, coconut curry chicken, grilled cheese and a sweet potato and black bean option. A bacon, egg and cheese Coffyn is planned from 9 a.m. until it sells out, with a potato, egg and cheese version available.

Tale Teller Tatties, baked smashed potatoes with honey mustard, cost $8.66. The menu also lists a $7.66 chocolate-raspberry tart, $6.96 house root beer and five local beers at $9.66.

Six Ravens is the savory counterpart to Gideon's Bakehouse, built around house-made yeast rolls rather than the bakery's cookies and cake slices. The dark medieval setting draws its name from the ravens kept at the Tower of London.
