The Devil Wears Prada 2 drew 15.2 million views during its first five days on Disney+ and Hulu, according to an original report by Variety.
That made the 20th Century Studios sequel Disney's largest live-action film debut on its streaming services since Deadpool & Wolverine in 2024.
Disney calculated a view by dividing the total time subscribers watched the movie by its 119-minute runtime. The company did not provide separate totals for Disney+ and Hulu.
The Sequel Moved From Theaters to Streaming
The Devil Wears Prada 2 started streaming July 29 after opening in theaters May 1. Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci returned as Miranda Priestly, Andy Sachs, Emily Charlton and Nigel Kipling.
The story brings Andy back into Miranda's orbit as Runway faces a shrinking print business. Emily, once Miranda's assistant, now controls advertising money the magazine needs.
