UPDATE: All seven attractions covered in this story were operating normally in the latest CrowdLevels check at 6:11 p.m. EDT Tuesday, Aug. 4. The earlier disruption had cleared before Epic Universe's posted 9 p.m. closing time.
Universal Epic Universe had seven attractions listed as unavailable at 4:56 p.m. EDT Tuesday, Aug. 4, while the park's posted hours ran until 9 p.m. The affected rides were Curse of the Werewolf, Dragon Racer's Rally, Fyre Drill, Hiccup's Wing Gliders, Mine-Cart Madness, Stardust Racers and Yoshi's Adventure.
The interruptions were staggered. Fyre Drill had been unavailable since 11:26 a.m. EDT, Mine-Cart Madness since 2:21 p.m., Dragon Racer's Rally and Yoshi's Adventure since 3:41 p.m., and the other three rides since 3:46 p.m. All seven were still listed down in the 4:56 p.m. CrowdLevels check.
The seven rides are spread across Dark Universe, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Super Nintendo World and Celestial Park.
The 4:56 p.m. CrowdLevels check showed no planned closure for any of the seven rides. No cause or reopening time was posted at that point.
Guests planning a return to the park can check the CrowdLevels Epic Universe page for current attraction status. The latest CrowdLevels check had all seven rides operating.
