How Rider Switch works
Disneyland Resort Rider Switch is available at most attractions. It is designed for a guest who does not meet the boarding requirements, does not plan to ride but cannot wait outside alone, or cannot use a queue because of a specific need.
- Bring the full group to the attraction entrance and ask a Cast Member for Rider Switch.
- Party A enters the queue and rides first. Party B waits outside the queue.
- The Cast Member scans the admission media or tickets for Party B and gives the group a return direction.
- After Party A finishes, up to two Party B guests return to the directed entrance, have their admission media scanned again, and board without waiting in the standard queue.
Rider Switch does not change the attraction's height rule. It changes how the adults and eligible riders take turns when someone in the group cannot board.
