Storyliving by Disney has added six businesses to Cotino Bay Beach, Dining, Shops, the public waterfront destination planned for its Cotino community in Rancho Mirage, California.
Cotino Bay Beach, Dining, Shops is now scheduled to open in spring 2027. The destination had previously carried a late 2026 target.
Six new names join the waterfront
Asada Cantina + Kitchen will serve lunch and dinner with Mexican dishes and cocktails. SottoSopra, a new concept from the team behind SottoVoce Cafe, plans breakfast, lunch and dinner with Italian pastries, paninis, entrées and wine.
Big Juice will bring smoothies, cold-pressed juice, coffee and daytime food. La Michoacana Plus will add paletas, ice cream, aguas frescas and other Mexican sweets.
Mojave Flea Trading Post will carry work from regional makers and small brands. It Refills will sell refillable household and personal-care products.
A public destination at Cotino Bay
The waterfront district is planned as a public dining, shopping and recreation area. Day tickets will provide access to Cotino Bay Beach, with separate fees for beach use and some activities.
The new businesses join previously announced locations including Elevare, Artigiano, On the Mark Fine Foods & Provisions and Khaga Yoga.
