Four attractions at Epic Universe were operating again at 4:26 p.m. EDT Thursday, Aug. 6, after the afternoon closure wave that took seven rides out of service. The park's posted hours run until 9 p.m. EDT.
Curse of the Werewolf, Dragon Racer's Rally, Stardust Racers and Yoshi's Adventure were operating at that time. Fyre Drill, Hiccup's Wing Gliders and Mine-Cart Madness remained unavailable.
The latest status narrowed the disruption, but three major rides were still out of a same-day plan. No reopening time for the remaining attractions was available.
Thunderstorms and heavy rain later coincided with the earlier closure window around Orlando, including at Orlando Executive Airport and Orlando International Airport, according to National Weather Service observations. No operator explanation for the closures was available.
Guests planning an Epic Universe day should check current attraction status before moving between lands. Four rides were back in service by 4:26 p.m. EDT, while three remained down.
