Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party merchandise shoppers used event tickets linked to their Disney accounts to verify eligibility on opening night, rather than party wristbands.
WDW News Today reporters encountered the check at Magic Kingdom on Aug. 7. Cast Members confirmed the linked event admission before allowing guests to enter the merchandise line.
A valid party ticket was still required. The distinction was at the shop entrance: guests did not need to show the wristband used to identify event attendees elsewhere in the park.
The 2026 party begins at 7 p.m. on select nights, with ticketed guests allowed to enter Magic Kingdom beginning at 4 p.m. The event runs through Oct. 31.
