Chainsaw Man's 'IRIS OUT' Joins Hollywood Dream Backdrop at USJ Sept. 11

Kenshi Yonezu's Chainsaw Man movie theme runs on the backward coaster through November 8.

Universal Studios Japan will add Kenshi Yonezu's "IRIS OUT" to Hollywood Dream - The Ride: Backdrop from September 11 through November 8, 2026.

The backward-running coaster will use the theme song from Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc. USJ announced the track on August 11, one month before its park debut.

Two Chainsaw Man tracks, two ride directions

King Gnu's "SO BAD" is already scheduled for the forward-facing Hollywood Dream - The Ride during the same September 11-November 8 window. "IRIS OUT" gives the Backdrop train its own Chainsaw Man soundtrack.

Both songs come from Reze Arc, the feature film that follows Denji's encounter with a mysterious girl named Reze. The park pairing does not suggest that the coaster experience retells the movie; the announced change is the onboard music.
