Silver Dollar City shared a post on August 31 linking to a MACK Rides interview about Miner’s Mountain Express, the park’s family coaster planned for spring 2027. The interview adds design details to the project’s earlier announcement.

The Coaster Will Fly Over Its Own Station
MACK Rides head of marketing Maximilian Roeser told Attractions Magazine that the layout will send a train above the station and loading area. Guests waiting in the queue will see the trains pass overhead before they board.
The Route Drops Into Caves and Follows Ozark Terrain
The interview also describes a tunnel into the caves and a route that moves back and forth across Silver Dollar City’s hills and valleys. Miner’s Mountain Express is planned for Daredevil Pass above Marvel Cave, with a 3,553-foot track, two lift climbs and 15 airtime moments.
Miner’s Mountain Express remains planned for spring 2027, with a 39-inch minimum height when a guest rides with a supervising companion. MACK Rides is collaborating with Silver Dollar City, Herschend Creative Studios and the park’s construction teams.
Miner’s Mountain Express Connects Daredevil Pass to Marvel Cave
The coaster will join WildFire, PowderKeg and The American Plunge in Daredevil Pass. Its story draws on the real Marble Cave Mining Company and the cavern now known as Marvel Cave; the name refers to the park’s cave history, not Marvel Entertainment or Marvel Comics.
